I really, really want to love this heart necklace, but it is just OK.
Online pictures did not match the product I received.
When I was looking for the next necklace to review, my eyes spotted a beautiful heart necklace. It appeared to be a silky smooth finish and only $3.27 shipped. My desire when I made this website was to review the “Cheap China Stuff” and this fit the bill perfectly!
Here is what I thought I’d get; a smooth and silky necklace.
But instead, I received a not so silky necklace. The metal is kind of uneven, looks handmade with different thicknesses and waves. Not bad, just not quite what the first picture depicted.
Shopping for a gift? I wouldn’t give it to my mom or wife unless they really love bare metal jewelry.
The tweens (9-12 years old) I talked to loved it, so I would definitely buy it for that age range.
I did love that it came in a plastic bag. The chain was not tangled or damaged in any way.
The chain and clasp are cheap materials, but so far they have continued to last through testing with no signs of weakening. But remember, I only paid $3.27, I didn’t expect a necklace to pass down through many generations. I also have a thick neck and the chain was too short for me, I’d say a tween has the perfect neck size.
All in all, it is not bad, just not quite what I had expected.
If you’re looking for more jewelry reviews, I just reviewed another necklace yesterday.
